There’s more to us than the Adelaide String Duo!  Since meeting as young Adelaide musicians in the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra in the late 90s we’ve created a handful of diverse performance projects.  We’ve made a website for each of our acts to keep things organised.  Please have a browse.  You can also get a quick overview of all our projects on our sister website Adelaide Musicians

Adelaide variety act String Fever

String Fever

When we moved to Sydney in 1997 Brenton planned to give up the violin and focus on piano and vocals.  However, just 10 months later he was fiddling for his life in String Fever.  String Fever has become our flagship musical act.  Its taken us around the world and won us five Australian Entertainment Industry MO awards, including Variety Entertainers of the Year.

Elton John impersonator

Elton by Brenton

Brenton’s Elton John impersonation has been described as “indistinguishable from the real thing”  We’ve performed this show as a one-man-act for intimate events and with a full rock band for functions and in clubs around Australia.

Adelaide musicians at a wedding venue

Two Hearts Duo

We were two young Adelaide musicians in a strange new city!  Brenton was asked to do a solo piano-bar gig on a cruise and got Jacqui involved.  We called the collaboration “Edi’s Duo”.  Don’t ask! 😉  Its now called Two Hearts Duo – a full repertoire of popular piano-bar music and dance hits for wedding receptions and parties.

Cello and piano duo in a field with a grand piano

The Cello Guys

Inspired by the brilliance of The Piano Guys from Utah, The Cello Guys is our latest project.  Apparently piano and cello duos are the latest craze!  As Adelaide musicians we’re proud to bring this contemporary sound to functions in our home state.
